Hull condition record · Skagen anchorage
Know the hull condition before and after the ice
We arrange an underwater inspection at Skagen anchorage before your vessel enters the ice area, and a second one when she comes back out. You hold a documented record of the hull on both sides of the passage.
Skagen anchorage
How the record works
Before the ice area
Inspection at Skagen anchorage on the way in
Divers inspect the underwater hull and record its condition before the ice passage begins.
After the ice area
Inspection on the way out
The same inspection is repeated after the vessel returns, so the two records can be compared.
Why it matters
- Damage is clear. If something changed during the ice passage, the records show it. If nothing changed, they show that too.
- Fewer disputes. Owners and charterers work from the same documented evidence.
- Fewer surprises at redelivery. The condition of the hull is known at both ends of the voyage.
What you receive
